Example
This product is mainly described by model, specification, numbers of core, nominal cross-sectional area of the main line, nominal cross-sectional area of the branch cable, insulating effectiveness, color and the standard number. For instance:
FZVV-O. 6/1kV 1 × 185 (95) or Q/XH11 or QIAXHT007-2000 can be made use of to represent the single-core, copper-cored polyoxyethylene insulating Yun poly ethylene sheathed branch cable with the main line’s cross-sectional area at 185mm2 and the branch line’s cross-sectional area at 95mm2.
Characteristic Features
① Rated voltage (Uo /U): 0.6/1kV.
② The highest long-term allowable working temperature for the cable’s conductor:
It is 70℃ for the PVC insulated cables while 90℃ for the XLPE insulated ones.
③ The ambient temperature should not be less than 0 ℃ while laying the cable. When it is below 0℃, it should be pre-heated in advance.
④ The recommended bending radius of the cable should be no less than 12 times of its outer diameter.
⑤ The conductor’s DC resistance of the cable is shown in Table 3 while the insulation resistance is supposed to be no less than 200MΩ.
⑥ The molded branch section of the branch cable should be able to withstand the heat cycle test for 250 times.
⑦ The branch cable is supposed to be able to withstand the 3.5kV/5min AC voltage test.
